Kırşehir is suitable for renewable energy investments since it is a province rich in renewable energy resources. In addition, there is a potential in Kırşehir for the establishment of a Biomass Power Plant (BES) facility, which is based on the conversion of biogas potential obtained from animal wastes into electricity, and the work of entrepreneurs in this field continues.
Ahiler Development Agency prepared the Feasibility Report of Kırşehir Energy-Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in 2019 and Field Investigation Report for the Research of Biogas and Energy Potential from Animal Fertilizer in Kırşehir in 2017, and in these reports, the current situation analysis and potential investment opportunities of Kırşehir province on renewable energy are included.
