It is observed that the export of Kırşehir has been increasing since 2016. The product group that showed the highest increase in exports since 2016 is plastic and rubber products. It is especially the result of the investments and exports that Petlas Tire Factory has made in recent years, the only exporter in the province in this field. Germany, Egypt and Italy are the leading countries that Kırşehir exports to in 2018. The European continent is the region where the most exports are made on the basis of amount.
Kirsehir's imports also increased in parallel with its exports, which is mainly due to the increase in imports of cereals and live animals. In addition, the fact that the main raw materials of the tire and rubber industry depend on imports, support this increase. Brazil is the country where the highest amount of import made from, that is the import of livestock. Brazil is followed by Thailand, where the raw materials of tire and rubber products are imported.
