Within the scope of the 2019 Social Development Support Program (SOGEP), the contract for the project "Youth in Business Life with Smart Furniture", prepared by Kırşehir Vocational Training Center and entitled to be supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was signed.

Speaking in the signature program of the Project Contract among Kırşehir Governorship, Provincial Directorate of National Education and Ahiler Development Agency (AHİKA); Kırşehir Governor İbrahim Akın said, “ As Kırşehir has insufficient work capacity in the furniture sector, with this project, which will be implemented, some of the jobs that are provided from outside the province will be done in our city , and thus, new education and employment opportunities will be provided to our youth. Thus, with the Smart Furniture Production Line, which will be established within the Kırşehir Vocational Training Center, the dependency of the furniture enterprises serving in Kırşehir to other provinces will decrease and will contribute to meeting the qualified personnel needs of the enterprises. On this occasion, I would like to thank our Ministry of Industry and Technology for their support and those who contributed to the preparation of the project.”

Kırşehir Provincial Director of National Education Şevket Karadeniz emphasized that this project is suitable for strengthening vocational education, which has been prioritized in the 2023 Vision of the Ministry of National Education, and that the Kırşehir Vocational Training Center will be one of the few institutions that provide this training in our country.

In his speech, Ahiler Development Agency General  Secretary Bekir Varol stated that the project is being carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology through Agencies in order to eliminate the social problems arising from urbanization, to meet the needs of the changing social structure, and to support social entrepreneurship and innovation.

The program ended with the signing of the protocol by Kırşehir Governor İbrahim Akın, as well as by Provincial Director of National Education Sevket Karadeniz and Secretary General of Ahiler Development Agency Bekir Varol.
