Terme Hot Springs

In the analysis report presented by Prof. Dr. Bade about Terme Spa, these expressions have been used: “This water is found uncommonly not only in Turkey but in Europe. It's a kind of hot peptic carbonaceous steely mineral water. When compared to the Bed Pyrmenede Water which is eminent for gynecological diseases, anaemia and heart diseases, Bed Pyrmenede Water is carbonaceous steely mineral-water like Terme water. But this water can not emerge by itself. Emerging it by bumps reduces its carbon.  It can be easily understood that Terme water which gushes from rocks directly by 41,5 degree with its own artesian force is so precious contrary to Bed Pyrmenede.”  

Karakurt Thermal Spring

It is in the borders of Karalar Village in the centre district of Kırşehir. The distance of spring to Kırşehir is 16 km. The well in 147,65 m depth has got 51 °c temperature and 12 L/sec flow. A rescue project has been prepared for the Historical Karakurt Thermal found within the same area and it is planned to be restored.

Bulamaçlı Thermal Spring

It is in the borders of Çiçekdağı district of Kırşehir.  It is 4 km away from Çiçekdağı. The well in 160 m depth has 38 °c temperature and 3 L/sec flow. The flow with compressor is 7 L/sec. In this spa which has the capacity of 20 beds, many positive results are taken against many diseases such as rheumatism, neuralgia, neuritis and gynecological diseases with its bath therapy.  

Mahmutlu Geothermal Region

In Mahmutlu Thermal Spring, two sources were found with the last two boring made by MTA. The first one is in 311,2 m depth, 73,2 °c hot, 16 L/ sec, 40 L/sec flow by compressor. The second one is in 1149 m. depth, 76,5 °c hot, 33 L/sec compressor, 80 L/sec flow by compressor. Hot water from the thermal source is being used at greenhouses as there are no established facility.
