There is one university in the province, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, and it has been selected as a pilot university in the field of "Agriculture and Geothermal" within the scope of the project study "Mission Differentiation and Specialization based on the Regional Development Project", coordinated by The Council of Higher Education. Hereby, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University has undertaken new missions such as specialization in geothermal and agriculture, creating awareness, bringing a new perspective to the stakeholders in the region, and assuming a triggering role in laying the foundation of lacking new business lines.
